He graduated as a Finance Major with a minor in both Economics and Business Management; he is now in the office as a wealth manager. Howard's daughter Courtney graduated from Goucher College in 3 1/2 years with a double major in Business and Psychology. She is currently employed by a privately held consulting firm.

Coached youth sports (Annandale Youth Lacrosse) for 6 years and currently coaches Woodson HS varsity lacrosse during the off-season.

Active in his synagogue, Congregation Olam Tikvah in Fairfax, VA, where he served on The Board of The Olam Tikvah Men’s Club as Vice President.

Hobbies include volunteer work/giving back to the community, following The Washington Redskins, The Nationals, The Capitals and The Wizards, playing pickleball and enjoying all forms of music.
